When it’s 30°C+ outside, the last thing I want is a hot beverage. I need my caffeine fix though and there’s no way I’m ever going to stop drinking coffee. However, that doesn’t mean I can’t change it up a little like I did with this Dulce de Leche Coffee Milkshake recipe. Instead of a hot mug of my favourite beverage, I’m enjoying a cold glass with a few extras added in.
You may have seen my S’mores Coffee Milkshake recipe recently. It was the starting point of a new recipe obsession: cold coffee drinks. Prepare for a bunch of new decadent coffee milkshakes coming up over the next several weeks. I know many of us are looking for ways to beat the summer heat.

All these coffee recipes have a couple things in common. They are made in a blender. They use freshly brewed coffee and ice cream. They are sweet and cold. Most importantly, they are exactly what you want to be sipping when it’s hot outside.
Dulce de Leche Coffee Milkshake
This Dulce de Leche Coffee Milkshake is made with fresh coffee, vanilla ice cream and a couple tablespoonfuls of Dulce de Leche. If you like caramel, you’ll love Dulce de Leche. It’s basically sweetened milk that is slowly heated until it becomes this rich, creamy concoction. I could eat it right out of the jar. It’s soooooo good! It pairs beautifully with ice cream and coffee to create a dreamy milkshake.
Top it withe some whipped cream and enjoy. My oldest daughter said it tasted a bit like an Iced Cappuccino from Tim Horton’s. I think it tastes better though myself. I could be biased!
Follow me on Instagram for a sneak peek at the recipes that will be coming up. You’ll see a few more coffee ones if you have a look. I can’t wait to share them with you!
