How Do You Make Spaghetti Pie
Start by cooking your spaghetti as directed on the box.
In a skillet start cooking your ground beef, peppers, and onions, for around 10 minutes.
Stir in that pasta sauce, and seasonings and let it simmer for another 6 minutes to blend the flavors.

It doesn’t get much easier than this! The full recipe is below with all the amounts of ingredients you need!
How Long Do You Bake Spaghetti Pie
You want to cook your Spaghetti Pie for around 35 minutes or until it is golden brown and bubbly on top. Having that cheese cook up adds even more flavor to this incredible pasta recipe.
Can You Use Ricotta Cheese in Replace of Cottage Cheese in Spaghetti Pie
Absolutely! If you are not a fan of cottage cheese, reach for ricotta. Ricotta cheese is used a lot in lasagna, and it will still give your pasta a rich and creamy texture. We just love cottage cheese, but you are welcome to swap it out, this is a versatile recipe.
Do You Cover Spaghetti Pie When Baking
No, I do not cover my pie when it cooks. I find that getting the cheese golden brown on top adds a lot more flavor. Plus even if a few of the noodles get a little crunchy, it does give it more flavor and character.
My Secret Ingredient in Spaghetti Pie
Chili powder is my secret ingredient. This will add a smokey depth that adds a lot of flavor to your spaghetti pie. I learned about this trick years ago, and never go without adding it in! I have also used taco seasoning, I know it sounds weird but trust me it works! The flavors can’t be beaten, and it leaves people begging for your recipe!
Does Spaghetti Pie Freeze Well
You can indeed freeze any leftovers you have of your Spaghetti Pie. Just wrap up in aluminum foil and place in an airtight container. When you are ready to eat, just thaw in the fridge the night before. Then warm up in a microwave or the oven. If you choose to heat it in the oven, keep your Spaghetti Pie wrapped up in aluminum foil, so it doesn’t try out your pasta as it bakes. Cook until it is warmed through.
How Long Will Spaghetti Pie Last in Fridge
Your leftovers will store in the fridge for up to 3 days. Anything over that, you will want to toss out, in case it goes wrong. This reheats nicely, and I almost think the flavors get better as it sits!
Give my Spaghetti Pie recipe a try today! If you are a fan of pasta and love trying new recipes, this might be right up your alley! Simple and easy, doesn’t take too long to bake, and serves a crowd.

First of all, you had me at spaghetti. I do believe that is my families favorite dinner word to hear. I’ve made spaghetti casseroles before, but not a pie. Love it.
