This was a great base recipe! It was a hit in our house and my son requested it for his birthday. In my opinion the recipe needed some extras added. I added salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, parsley, and just a little bit of steak seasoning. I used sharp cheddar since that was what I had on hand. I also added diced pickles, mustard, and ketchup to the meat mixture. Absolutely delicious and no leftovers! Thanks for a great recipe our family will use over and over.
My family loved this! It will be on our regular rotation of meals. Thank you
It was good, just as I remembered from years ago
Quick easy recipe, but somewhat bland. Definitely needs salt, and maybe sharp cheddar for more flavor.
Very tasty and easy to prepare. I just wish there was more of a flaky crust on top and bottom. The bisquick mixture melded with the meat and wasn’t pie like.
It’s a good, easy dish. But I’d definitely season the ground beef with a little salt and pepper and cut back on the onions a bit. Otherwise, very good!!
If you freeze this, how do you suggest warming it up?
You can reheat from frozen. I would use the oven at 350F. Bake for 25 to 35 minutes and then see if it needs more time.
It is a good recipe, adding the few extras that you would have on a cheeseburger makes it even better.Pickle relish ,mustard, etc.
This Impossible Cheeseburger Pie is comfort food at it’s finest! Everyone enjoyed this dish, and the leftovers the next day were even better!
This was so simple, quick and easy! It was also so good!
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but if you are using Krusteaz (don’t have bisquick on hand) which only calls for water, should you just use water or would it still be best to use the milk and eggs on this recipe?
I would just use the mix and the rest of the ingredients that are in the recipe. It looks like it’s similar to Bisquick.
This was a good recipe for a picky family but I would suggest adding salt to the ground beef.
Easy Peasy!
Everyone loved it!
Very tasty & easy. Recommend pouring the bisquick mixture before cheese as my extra cheesy version made the bisquick difficult to penetrate.
Everyone LOVED it!
