    Equipment Needed

    This post contains affiliate links.

    • Rubber spatula – Use this to mix the butter and spread it into your serving bowls.
    • Large bowl – Use a large enough bowl to hold all the ingredients.
    • Electric mixer with whisk attachment – While not required, using an electric mixer is a better way to mix everything than wearing yourself out mixing it by hand.

What to Serve with Copycat Texas Roadhouse Cinnamon Butter

This sweet butter is the perfect thing to add to rolls and bread. Here are some of my favorite bread recipes that will taste good with some honey butter on top.

    Variations and Substitutions

    • Use different spices. Make pumpkin spice butter with pumpkin pie spice blend.
    • Give the butter as a gift. Store it in a decorative mason jar and add some ribbon.
    • Double the recipe to make plenty of butter to add to homemade rolls.
    • Add vanilla extract. A dash of pure vanilla extract will deepen the flavors of the butter.

    Storage Instructions

The butter will stay fresh in the refrigerator for 5-7 days. Store it in an airtight container. Do not leave it on the counter for longer than 20 minutes.

Copycat Texas Roadhouse Cinnamon Butter Tips and Tricks

    • For best results, let your butter soften first. Mixing cold butter is tough, but it is easy to work with room temperature butter.
    • Use an electric mixer. A stand mixer will work too. You can mix it with a whisk, but an electric hand mixer is much easier.
    • Serve it immediately. It’s easier to spread when it’s soft and slightly warm.

    Can I Use Unsalted Butter?

Yes, I recommend using unsalted butter in this Texas Roadhouse copycat recipe. You can control how flavorful or salty it tastes by adding as much salt as you want.

    What Does It Taste Like?

This is the best copycat recipe because it tastes identical to the butter they serve you at the steakhouse. It tastes like rich and creamy butter with a hint of sweetness. The pungent cinnamon taste lingers on your tongue after each bite.

Best Type of Honey To Use

If at all possible, I suggest using real, local honey. It will give you the boldest and sweetest flavors. If you are on a low-carb diet, use a sugar-free honey substitute.

    Can I Make It Sweeter?

Adding more powdered sugar is the best way to make the compound butter taste sweeter. It’s easy to add too much honey, so I prefer to adjust how much powdered sugar I use.

Can I Make It Taste Less Sweeter?

If you want it to taste less sweet, start with 1/8 cup of honey. Then, taste it and add a teaspoon of honey each time until it is just as sweet as you like.

    Can I Substitute Margarine?

The quality of butter matters, so I recommend avoiding margarine. It can work if it is your only option, but real butter will make it taste just like Texas Roadhouse cinnamon honey butter.

    FAQ

What should you add delicious cinnamon honey butter to?

This is one of my favorite things to make because you can add it to almost anything! It tastes delicious on top of warm English muffins, warm dinner rolls, or even pancakes.

What can I use in place of the powdered sugar?

To get the fluffy consistency, you need to use powdered sugar. If you are on a low-carb diet, I suggest using a powdered sugar substitute.

How many servings does this make?

This recipe makes about six servings.
