What to Serve with Strawberry Butter

Serve this easy strawberry butter recipe with your favorite strawberry recipes, such as strawberry mousse or strawberry coconut tarts

Fresh fruit and toast go well with it, too. Or save it with these on the side:

    Variations and Substitutions

    • Use strawberry jam. If you do, you won’t have to use honey, and the strawberries are already pureed.
    • Make whipped strawberry butter. Replace the honey with confectioner’s sugar and mix until light and fluffy.
    • Add a few more fresh berries. A mixed berry butter would be delicious.
    • Use strawberry puree instead of fresh strawberries. This will save you a step.

    Storage Instructions

Keep the fresh strawberry butter in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week. You can also freeze it for up to four months.

    Strawberry Butter Tips and Tricks

    • Let it warm to room temperature before trying to spread it.
    • Use a food processor or a stand mixer to mix everything.
    • Use very ripe strawberries. They’re easier to mash and puree if they are ripe.

    Salted or Unsalted Butter?

This sweet butter tastes best if you use salted butter. The salt enhances the sweet flavors of the strawberries and honey.

    Ways To Use

Use this butter just like you do other fruit spreads. Spread it on toasted English muffins or hot biscuits. It will also taste delicious on top of ice cream.
