    Recipe Tips and Tricks

    • Roll Evenly: Flatten the biscuit dough to an even thickness for uniform rolls. This will ensure that they cook properly and evenly all the way through.
    • Seal Edges Tightly: Seal the edges tightly to prevent filling leakage when rolling the cinnamon rolls. You don’t want to end up with a gooey mess.
    • Sharp Knife or Dental Floss: Use a sharp knife or dental floss to cut the rolls cleanly. This will prevent you from squishing the rolls as you cut them.
    • Grease or Line the Pan: Prevent sticking by greasing the bottom of the pan, spraying it with cooking spray, or using parchment paper. You don’t want your delicious cinnamon rolls to stick to the round pan.
    • Proper Spacing: Leave space between rolls to prevent them from merging during baking. If you don’t leave enough space, they will meld together and become difficult to separate.
    • Avoid Overbaking: Keep an eye on the rolls to prevent overbaking. You want your cinnamon rolls to be golden brown but still fluffy and delicious.
    • Freshly Mixed Glaze: Before drizzling it on the cinnamon buns, prepare the glaze. This is best for the glaze to melt and fuse to the warm buns.
    • Overnight Prep: Assemble the rolls the night before and refrigerate for a quicker morning bake.
    • Serve Warm: Enjoy cinnamon rolls warm for the best aroma and texture. They are always better fresh out of the oven.

Can I Use Another Kind of Refrigerated Biscuit Dough?

Yes. The type of refrigerated biscuit dough you use is entirely up to you. These easy cinnamon rolls aren’t overly fussy. You can opt for any brand or biscuit type, like buttermilk biscuits. No matter what kind of refrigerator biscuits you choose, the result will be the same. Gooey cinnamon rolls that will have you coming back for more.

They only sell Grands biscuit dough where I live.
Is there a way I can make the Grands into regular size biscuit dough?

      1. You can use the Grands! You’ll have enough cinnamon sugar filling. You may need to bake them a little longer because they are larger. We don’t have them here, but I wish we did!

Love these. Doing or trying to do the low carb thing so I used Swerve Sugar Products. Was pretty good, but the Swerve XXX sugar made way to sweet a glaze. Will use less sugar and more milk next time.
      Anyway, pretty good. Try ’em!
