How to Serve Slow Cooker Black Beans
My absolute favorite way to enjoy black beans is with white rice. My mom introduced me to this combination when I was a teenager. I was adamant on eating nothing but low fat foods and my mom was worried I wasn’t getting enough nutrition in my diet. She used to cook me black beans and brown rice and mix them together in a bowl. They were so delicious and super filling. And little did I know, I was getting some really good nutrition out of this meal. Thanks mom!
