Variations and Substitutions
- I prefer Bailey’s Irish Cream. However, if you have another Irish cream liqueur, feel free to use it instead.
- Use half and half or milk in place of the heavy cream.
- Make it dairy-free by using Almond Bailey’s and a plant-based milk.
- If you can’t get enough gingerbread flavor, add in more gingerbread syrup. I find 1 tablespoon is a great amount, but you may like it more pronounced.
- Try vanilla vodka instead of regular vodka.
Recipe Tips and Tricks
- Serve in a chilled martini glass for best results. Place the glasses in the freezer for 30 minutes before you make the cocktails.
- Make sure to shake the ingredients over ice for at least 30 seconds before you strain into your chilled glass.
Storage Instructions
I highly recommend you make this cocktail when you are ready to enjoy it. It’s not something you’ll want to store for a longer period of time. Fresh is best!
