Easter Egg Stuffed Crescent Rolls

The Easter stuff is out in stores! I ended up buying a little too much chocolate on my last shopping trip. Some of it will be going to my kids, but the rest of it, I wanted to try something new instead of just eating it myself. I made these decadent Easter Egg Stuffed Crescent Rolls – super easy and delicious! If you find yourself with too much chocolate (can that even be possible?), here’s a recipe for you to make for your family.

It’s literally wrapping crescent roll dough around a chocolate Easter Egg. I bought a bunch of Cadbury eggs with a few different fillings to keep things interesting. You never know what you are going to bite into!

I topped mine with a sprinkle of powdered sugar or as we call it in Canada, icing sugar. I always want to write icing sugar in the recipe, but then worry that people won’t know what I mean.

These are best served while they are still warm so you can fully savour the melted chocolate and whatever filling is inside the egg. The picture shown above with the ooey gooey chocolate is a Cadbury Fudgeo Easter Egg. Are you hungry yet?
