Oreo Pie Recipe

This easy no-bake pie recipe has a chocolate Oreo crust and creamy sweet filling made with Cool Whip, Oreos and cream cheese. You’ll love the cookies and cream taste in very bite of this delicious Oreo Pie recipe!

I made this Oreo Cream Pie a few times in the last month and each time it received rave reviews. I even had one person say that it’s so good that I should sell it in stores! I’m not in the pie making business, but I can share this amazing recipe so you can make it for your family to enjoy, too.

My fiancé, Matty, is a huge Oreo cookie fan so I knew right away that an Oreo cookie pie would be right up his alley. He loves his late night sweet snacks and took a piece of this pie to bed a few nights. Side note – I hate that he eats in bed!

Each bite is rich, creamy and sweet. Cookies and cream perfection!

You’ll need these ingredients to make this no bake Oreo pie.

    Oreo Pie Crust

    • Oreos – Make sure they are the regular Oreo cookies and not the Oreo Double Stuf. Buy the family size package (19.1oz) if you can so you’ll have enough Oreos for the toppings.
    • Salted butter
    • Salt

You can use a pre-made Oreo crust if you are short on time.

    Oreo Cream Filling

    • Cream cheese – I use the regular cream cheese and not the light version.
    • Granulated white sugar – Powdered sugar will also work instead of white sugar, but it will change the consistency a little. You’ll need about 3/4 cup instead.
    • Maple syrup – You could replace this with honey or agave nectar if you don’t have maple syrup. My fave maple syrup is from Maple Lifestyle!
    • Chocolate syrup – I find this in the toppings for ice cream sundaes aisle at the grocery store.
    • Vanilla extract
    • Whipped topping – I use Cool Whip that has been thawed in the fridge. You can make your own Cool Whip if your country doesn’t have it. Alternatively, you can use heavy cream and powdered sugar that you beat together until it forms stiff peaks.
    • Oreos

    How to Store

Store any leftover pie in the fridge. Make sure it’s well covered and it will last about 4 days.

You can also freeze this No Bake Oreo Cream Pie! Prepare the recipe as directed below. It’s best to cut into individual pieces to freeze. Make sure they are wrapped well and they will last up to 3 months. Thaw at room temperature when you are ready to eat.

What is the best way to press my Oreos into the pie pan?

I like to use a measuring cup with a flat bottom to press the Oreo crumbs in the pan and up the sides of the pan. If you don’t press hard enough, the crumbs won’t stick together well. If you press too hard, you will disperse the crumbs. Use a firm, gentle pressure.

You can also use your clean fingers to press the crumbs into the pan.

After you are done preparing the crust, you’ll need to refrigerate it so the butter will hard and stiffen the crust into a more durable shape that can easily hold the filling.

Can I make this pie ahead of time?

Yes, definitely! I actually prefer to make it ahead of time so it has more time to firm up in the fridge. I typically make it the day before and let it sit in the fridge overnight. The next day it’s always easier to cut into pieces. No one wants a pie to fall apart when you slice into it!

    Recipe Tips

    • If you don’t have a high powered blender (like a Vitamix) or a food processor, you can crush the Oreo cookies yourself with a rolling pin. Put the cookies in a large Ziploc baggie and use the rolling pin to crush into fine pieces. Don’t leave any big chunks. You can also buy a pre-made Oreo pie crust.
    • Don’t eat the pie too soon! It will turn out so much better if you let it sit for at least 4 hours in the fridge. I leave mine sit overnight and tell everyone to not touch it!

    Variations

The sky is the limit when it comes to this easy pie! You can switch out the Oreo flavors to create a whole new and yummy dessert.
