With the holidays coming up, I’m making my list of sweets I plan to prepare. I usually end up making a ton of desserts, but I give quite a bit of it away to friends and family. Some of it, I freeze for later. The type of desserts I like are simple to make, easy to share and taste delicious. These No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls I’m sharing with you today are just that. You’ll love how fast you can whip up a batch for your family. And the taste! You are in for a real treat.
It all begins with that mouthwatering jar of REESE Spreads in your pantry. I like to keep a few jars on hand because I use it quite a bit in my dessert recipes and my daughter loves it on an English muffin for breakfast. It’s so good you’ll want to just eat it by the spoonful. I won’t judge if you do because I’m right there with you.
The kids can even help make this recipe. They can roll the ingredients into balls, dip them into the melted chocolate or dip them into the crushed REESE’S Pieces. The hardest part is waiting the hour for them to be ready to eat!
These No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls also make a lovely DIY gift. Pick up some festive cellophane bags and ribbon and make little packages to share. They make a thoughtful, heartfelt gift.
If you participate in a holiday baking exchange, consider making a batch to share. They freeze well and are easy to transport. I plan to make more to share with my family and friends. I know they will really enjoy them. My family who tried this batch told me that I have to make more for the holidays.
Another bonus of this recipe is that it’s easy to customize to make your own. Try dipping them in melted white chocolate or using crushed peanuts to cover instead. If you are feeling really adventurous, make a few different varieties with a selection of toppings. Whatever you decide to cover them with, I’m sure they will taste amazing! After all, the inside has REESE Spreads and you can’t go wrong there.
