There are just four simple ingredients in this sugar cookie Christmas fudge. Here’s what you’ll need before you begin.

    • White Baking Chips – This is the base of the fudge.
    • Sweetened Condensed Milk – This sweetens the fudge and makes it the perfect texture.
    • Unsalted Butter – The butter holds everything together.
    • Sugar Cookie Mix – This gives the fudge its density and flavor.
    • Christmas Sprinkles – This decorates it, but you can use red and green sprinkles.

How to Make Christmas Sugar Cookie Fudge

    • Step One: Prepare a small square pan (8 x 8 or similar size) by lining it with parchment paper (or aluminum foil, coated with cooking spray).
    • Step Two: Combine White Baking Chips, Sweetened Condensed Milk, and Butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring each time, until melted. It should take 2 to 3 minutes. Do not overcook.
    • Step Three: Stir to ensure all the white chocolate mixture is melted, then add 2/3 of the Christmas-themed Sprinkles, stirring them in. Add the Sugar Cookie Mix and stir until smooth.

    Equipment Needed

    • Square Pan – An 8×8 pan is the perfect size.
    • Parchment Paper – For the best results, line your pan with parchment or wax paper.
    • Sharp Knife – You’ll use this to cut the cream fudge.
    • Microwave-Safe Bowl – Since you’re going to melt the baking chips in the microwave, use a safe bowl.
    • Rubber Spatula – Use one flat to easily spread the fudge in the pan.
    • Plastic Wrap – You’ll cover the fudge while it chills and sets in the fridge.
    • Cutting Board – Use a large board or plate to cut the fudge.

What to Serve with Christmas Sugar Cookie Fudge

This is the perfect dessert to make and serve during the holiday season. Here are a few of my favorite desserts to serve with sugar cookie fudge.

    Variations and Substitutions

    • Other cake or cookie mixes. Try this with any other box of cake mix for a different flavor.
    • Baking chips. Use dark chocolate or milk chocolate chips instead of white chocolate.
    • Extract. Add some peppermint extract to make it taste bright and minty.

    Storage Instructions

I recommend cutting the sugar cookie fudge into pieces and storing them in a plastic baggie, airtight container, or even a plate with some plastic wrap.

Store your fudge at room temperature. It’s best enjoyed within the first three days. Honestly, I kept it longer, and it was fine.

Christmas Sugar Cookie Fudge Tips and Tricks

    • Melt the white chocolate chips slowly. Stir well in between each round in the microwave.
    • Give it plenty of time to set. This no-bake recipe is easy, but it takes time to set up.
    • Add the fudge to your Christmas cookie trays. If you do, don’t forget to add plenty of pretty sprinkles.
    • Use it as an edible gift. Place it in a decorative tin. Line the tin with wax paper so it protects the fudge.

How long does fudge need to set before cutting?

Let it set in the refrigerator for at least two hours to get the perfect creamy fudge. But It’s best to let it set for at least three hours. I let the creamy white chocolate fudge set overnight, and it’s always perfect the following day.

Can I Use Evaporated Milk Instead of Sweetened Condensed Milk?

No, don’t use evaporated milk in this Christmas fudge recipe. If you do, the fudge won’t be nearly as creamy and definitely won’t be as sweet. Evaporated milk is just thicker milk, so it isn’t as sweet.

Can I Use Actual Sugar Cookies?

I don’t recommend using crushed real cookies. They have the wrong texture and will make your fudge taste grainy.

    FAQ

    Can I freeze this recipe?

Yes, you can freeze the fudge. Store it in freezer-safe containers for up to three months. If you’re storing the fudge in layers in a container, put a piece of parchment paper between the fudge layers.

    Is this recipe gluten-free?

No, this fudge isn’t gluten-free. Use a gluten-free sugar cookie mix if you need it to be gluten-free.

How many servings does this make?

This recipe makes about 20 pieces, depending on how big you slice them.
