    Although it’s got soy sauce in – which makes it feel a little Asian-inspired – it’s quite a delicate flavor. This means you don’t have to stick with Chinese noodles/rice/stir-fry veg to serve it with.

    How to Make Honey Garlic Salmon

    The first step is to make the yummy marinade. Mix together all the ingredients in the bowl. Add the salmon to a bowl or bowl and the pour over half the marinade. Cover and let it sit for a bit to work its magic.

    Once the salmon is done marinating. Place it on a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake for 8 minutes and then brush on more marinade. Put it back in the oven for another 8 minutes. Quick and easy!

    Honey Garlic Baked Salmon

    This Asian-inspires salmon dish is as healthy as it is delicious! The simple sesame oil, soy sauce, and honey marinade makes even fish haters love this main dish.

    Ingredients
     
     

    • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
    • 1 tbsp sesame oil
    • 2 cloves garlic peeled and minced
    • 3 tbsp soy sauce
    • 3 tbsp honey
    • 4 boneless salmon fillets

    Instructions

    • Mix together the marinade ingredients. Place the salmon in a bag or bowl and pour on half of the marinade. Cover and leave to marinade for 30 minutes (and up to 2 hours – refrigerate if marinating for more than 30 mins).
    • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a baking tray with baking parchment and place the salmon on the tray. Cook in the oven for 8 minutes, then spoon or brush on the remaining marinade. Cook for a further 7-8 minutes until the salmon is tender.
    • Top the cooked salmon with sliced scallions and chillies. Serve with boiled rice and extra veggies.

      This looks really yummy. What adjustments do you think I would need to make to bake it in an air fryer

      1. Hi Donna, Here are some air fryer instructions:
        Prepare the Air Fryer:
        Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
        Lightly grease the air fryer basket with a little vegetable oil or line it with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
        Cook the Salmon:
        Place the marinated salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, skin-side down if applicable.
        Cook at 350°F (175°C) for 8 minutes.
        Apply Remaining Marinade:
        Open the air fryer and spoon or brush on the remaining marinade over the salmon fillets.
        Continue cooking for an additional 5-6 minutes until the salmon is tender and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
