15 Ways to Make Kale Chips

I’m struggling with late night cravings. I can do great all day eating healthy and not gorging myself on sweets and carbs. Then 8 o’clock rolls around and the hunger hits.

Right now this is the hardest time of the day for me to stay on track. It’s a battle of willpower to not reach into the cupboard and open a bag of chips or grab a chocolate bar.

I’ve been doing ok for the last little while and eat fruit or have a glass of lemon water. I still miss the snacking foods though! Then I remembered Kale Chips and how much I liked them when I made a batch a few years back.

    I made mine with a little bit of lemon juice and some Parmesan cheese and was surprised how much I enjoyed them. You almost forget you are eating a vegetable! Even kids love Kale Chips, too!

    Kale chips are healthy and delicious. I’ve started picking up kale each week on my shopping trips to make some healthy snack foods for those late night cravings. I can indulge without the guilt!

      I have never had any success making kale chips. I have tried 3 different times and they either never get crispy or burn.

      I’ve been meaning to try making kale chips for the longest time and these recipes sound awesome! I’ve always got the munchies, so this would make for wonderful snacking!

      tried maknt kale chips once bt it was not very successful!

      1. You really have to be sure they are spread out on the baking sheet.  A single bunch of kale will often take 4 trays for me.  If they are too close, they don’t get crispy.  Be sure to dry the leaves well and message the oil in with your hands.  I have an olive oil sprayer and I only use two squirts per baking sheet, but you have to massage it so be sure all surfaces are covered.

    15. I have never heard of them before so I am a little surprised. I will have to pick up some kale and try these.They look superb.

      I know some family members that would like me to make some of these interesting kale chip recipes. The Sea salt and vinegar ones sound delicious. I will have to try and make these for a different snack idea!
