In a large bowl, stir together the biscuit mix, milk, cheese and garlic powder until it becomes a doughy mixture.
Drop the dough in heaping spoonfuls onto an ungreased baking sheet. I made my biscuits quite big, but you could make the smaller (and make more of them) by using less dough for each one.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
In small bowl, mix together the melted butter and minced garlic. Brush the butter mixture on the top of each biscuit. Serve warm.
