Ingredients

16 oz breakfast sausage
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
½ tsp ground black pepper
2 cups milk
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
2 cans crescent rolls 8 count cans

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350℉.
In a skillet over medium heat brown the sausage until cooked thoroughly.
Add the flour, salt and pepper and stir until all the flour is incorporated.
Stir inthe milk.
Continue stirring and cooking the sausage gravy until it comes up to a boil and starts to thicken.
Cook for 5 more minutes stirring frequently.
Stir in the cheese to melt.
Remove from heat and set aside.
On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper lay down your crescent rolls into a rectangle shape.
Pinch together any seams and give the edges a little roll to make a crust.
Pour the sausage gravy onto the crescent roll crust and spread out.
Bake for 15-20 minutes until the crust is golden brown. Slice and serve.
