Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9-inch pie plate.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together sugar, Bisquick, salt, and spices.
Add eggs, eggnog, melted butter, and vanilla. Whisk together.
Pour into the prepared pie plate.
Bake for 45 to 55 minutes, or until the center is just set and a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean.
Cool completely before slicing. Serve with whipped cream and a sprinkle of nutmeg.
Notes
The center should be just set with a slight jiggle. It firms up as it cools.
Full-fat eggnog gives the best texture.
No Bisquick? Use ½ cup flour, ¾ teaspoon baking powder, a pinch of salt, and 1 tablespoon butter.
Chill before slicing for the cleanest cuts.
