Get ready for game day or any party with the best ever Cheesy Bacon Bread Bowl, an appetizer that's as fun as it is addictive. Packed with creamy, cheesy goodness, this ultimate dip is sure to be the talk of the event, leaving everyone craving for more.
Preheat oven to 375℉. Prepare a baking sheet with pan spray or parchment paper.
Cut off ⅓ of the top of the loaf of bread and set aside. Scoop (or remove neatly if you want to use later) the center of the loaf of bread.
In a large size bowl add cream cheese, Worcestershire sauce and garlic and mix together until soften. Add Swiss cheese and Velveeta cheese and stir in. Add bacon (reserve a little to top cheese with) and fold into mixture.
Place bread bowl on baking sheet and fill with cheese mixture. It may seem like it’s to much but it will bake down.
Place baking sheet in oven and bake until all the cheese is melty, about 5-10 minutes and stir once. Continue to bake bread bowl for about 30 minutes until bread and cheese begin to brown.
Remove from oven. Top with green onion and reserved bacon.
In a small bowl add olive oil and Italian seasoning and mix.
Take the top of the loaf and cut into long slices crust side up. If you removed pieces from bowl neatly, cut into slices and use those as well. Place on baking sheet and brush with olive oil and Italian seasoning mixture. Bake at 400℉ for about 5-10 minutes until toasty. Watch so they don’t burn.
Remove breadsticks from oven and serve alongside bread bowl.
