This homemade quick bread recipe is so simple and incredibly moist with swirls of cinnamon and brown sugar throughout. It's perfect for breakfast, dessert or a snack and even makes a nice Christmas gift.
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a large (9-inch) loaf pan and set aside.
In a small bowl, stir together cinnamon and brown sugar. Set aside.
In another bowl, add white sugar and butter and blend together with a mixer. Add in eggs, sour milk and vanilla and blend together with a mixer.
In another bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add to wet mixture and stir to combine.
Pour half the batter into the loaf pan. Sprinkle half the cinnamon mixture on top. Pour remaining batter on top. Sprinkle remaining cinnamon mixture on top.
Cut through batter with a butter knife in a zigzag pattern.
Bake for 55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool slightly before removing from the loaf pan.
