Chicken Alfredo Pierogi Casserole

Everyone who tries this easy baked casserole made from frozen pierogies raves about how amazing it is! This comfort food dinner recipe is loaded with chicken, bacon, Alfredo sauce, onions, mushrooms and pierogies.

Step 1

Measure out your cheese, pierogis, olive oil, onion, mushrooms, garlic, cooked bacon, cooked chicken, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

Step 2

First, preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Spread cooked pierogies on the bottom of a 9x13-inch casserole dish and set aside.

Next, add extra virgin olive oil to a skillet over medium heat. Add onions, mushrooms, and garlic. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for approximately 10 minutes or until onions are softened and mushrooms are cooked.

Add the alfredo sauce to a large bowl. Add cooked chicken, cooked bacon, Italian seasoning, and sliced mushrooms and onion. Stir to combine.

Pour the creamy alfredo mixture over the pierogis in the baking dish.

Finally, spread cheese on top of the casserole along with cooked chopped bacon. 

Step 7

Bake the casserole in the oven for 30 minutes until bubbly and a little brown on top. Serve warm.
