Instructions
Place the softened cream cheese on a serving plate or in a shallow dish. Use the back of a spoon to spread it into an even layer, about ½ inch thick.
In a small bowl, stir together the cranberry sauce, orange juice, orange zest, honey, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Mix until well combined.
Spoon the cranberry mixture evenly over the cream cheese layer, letting it slightly cascade over the edges for a pretty presentation.
Sprinkle on green onions for garnish, if using.
Pair with crackers, pita chips, or baguette slices.
Notes
Make Ahead:
You can prepare the cranberry topping a day in advance. Store in the fridge and spoon over cream cheese just before serving.
Savory Twist:
Add finely jalapeños to the cranberry topping for a sweet-heat combo.
Holiday Touch:
Garnish with fresh rosemary sprigs or sugared cranberries for a festive look.
Texture Boost:
Sprinkle chopped pecans or walnuts over the cranberry layer for crunch.
