Back to the Fuschia
My daughter is a girly girl who loves to have her nails done. I have never been very talented at painting my own nails, so if I want them polished, I will splurge on manicures and pedicures. Unfortunately this is not something that I can afford to do every week, let alone even once a month, so my nails are generally in pretty poor condition. And there is also the frustration of never being able to get as neat of strokes as the nail technicians can with their many bottles of polish.
My frustrations with nail upkeep made me curious about the newest line of nail polishes from Sally Hansen called the Complete Salon Manicure™. Basically, this new collection from Sally Hansen contains everything you get in a salon visit: color, base coat, top coat, and even a nail strengthener and growth treatment. I’m not sure if those last two items on the check list were included in any manicure I’ve ever had before!
We tested out three vibrant, shimmery shades from the Complete Salon Manicure™ line: Back to the Fuschia (Wow. I *just* got the joke…did you?), Raisin the Bar, and Choco-Latte. Fun, catchy names have always been a great way to sell a product to me, and I not only love the names of the polishes, but I love the variety of shades as well.
Unlike other nail polishes that I have used with my daughter, the Complete Salon Manicure™ has a unique brush with curved ends that help provide a better stroke. I also noticed that my strokes were much more even and looked nearly as professional as when I have gone to a salon for a manicure.
The Complete Salon Manicure™ polishes also dry very quickly, which I am especially grateful for since my daughter does not like to sit still waiting for her nails to dry. After just a minute or two, they were dry enough that I was willing to let her go back to her playing.
The next time that we go shopping for new shades of nail polish, I will be sure to stop in the Sally Hansen section specifically for the Complete Salon Manicure™ line.
