The world has changed so much in the past few months. We are staying home as much as possible and going out when we need to essentials. Life is different, but we are adapting as I’m sure everyone else is too. I miss my family and friends, but I’m grateful for the Internet to stay connected with everyone.
Businesses are adapting to the current landscape as well. We are shopping online and interacting with our favourite brands via their website and social media accounts.
Disclosure: I was compensated for this post. All opinions on this blog are my own.
One brand that has adapted to the changing times is Miele, the manufacturer of German engineered household appliances. You’re probably already familiar with their high quality dishwashers, ovens, refrigerators and other products.
Miele Live Streaming Site
They’ve launched a new live streaming site, mielelive.ca, to help stay connected with their customers through live streaming video. Since we can’t visit many stores right now, they are bringing the showroom to us! I thought that was pretty cool especially if you are in need of a new appliance and aren’t sure what to buy to suit your family’s needs.
If you are looking for a new appliance, you can chat 1-on-1 online or via the telephone with a Miele Sales Advisor. Ask questions and get feedback on the products to ensure you get what your family needs. Book your appointment right on their website. Easy peasy!
Interactive Live Streaming Sessions
In addition, Miele is also offering interactive live stream sessions featuring appliance demonstrations, cooking demonstrations and more. If you have a suggestion for an upcoming session you’d like to see them do, just let them know. They want your feedback!
For example, some upcoming sessions include:
- Chef Eric Chong (1st place winner on MasterChef Canada) prepares Lobster Chow Mein
- Cook Off with the Miele Oven with the Sing Tao Media Group
- Learn about the Miele Refrigeration and Wine Storage
Watch the sessions live or watch the replay if you can’t make it to the live show. Register at Miele Live to get notified when the session begins.
You can also submit a question that you want answered during the live event. Use the form on their site to ask your question.
Previous Live Streams
They already have a bunch of live stream videos on various categories you can check out. I’m most interested in the Cooking Demos and Cooking Series! They have a video on Sous-Vide cooking that I want to check out.
And there’s a live stream on bread making. Everyone is baking bread these days so it’s on my must-watch list, too.
I love the #MieleDinesLocal initiative and how it supports both small business and frontline workers.
Miele is inviting local restaurants across Canada to come on Miele Live and cook their restaurant’s signature dish in real-time. It’s a fabulous way for restaurants to promote their business and give new and future customers more information about their restaurant and the food served.
Plus, Miele will be donating 100 take-out meals from the selected restaurants directly to front line workers. It doesn’t get more awesome than that!
Restaurants can apply right on the Miele Live website.
