Jimmy Dean Review

I think every family probably has busy mornings – especially when school starts. Getting everyone out the door with everything they need for the day can get hectic. Unfortunately I think that a good breakfast often goes by the wayside most mornings – I know that’s often the case in my house. While I always make sure my boys are properly fed, I find that my husband and I sometimes go without in order to get out the door on time. But thanks to Jimmy Dean, we can now afford the time to eat right and fuel our mornings with their line of breakfast foods.

I was sent coupons from Jimmy Dean to choose any products I wanted to for this review. As I checked out all they had to offer at my local supermarket I was instantly drawn to two particular Delights breakfast products that I thought would be perfect for my family – the Turkey Sausage Muffin and the Turkey Sausage Breakfast Bowl. Delights from Jimmy Dean are lower calorie options of their popular products. Trying to get and stay healthy starts with a good choice at breakfast, so I was glad to see lower calorie and lower fat options available. The Turkey Sausage Muffins are heart-healthy sandwiches that contain flavorful turkey sausage, egg whites, and cheese. They provide 5 grams of whole grains and are an excellent source of protein and calcium. Most importantly, they are yummy! And they take less than three minutes to make in the microwave. They are a great sandwich to take on the run during the week. The Turkey Sausage Breakfast Bowl happens to be a great way to start our weekends (which are just as hectic as our weekdays at times!). At only 240 calories, these bowls have a great combination of scrambled egg whites, potatoes, reduced fat cheese and turkey sausage. I like that these too are fast and easy to make and give us a break from carbs. Having tried these two varieties, I’m excited to try the rest of the Delights line from Jimmy Dean.
