Hillshire Farm Review

When I think of Hillshire Farm, I usually think of the summer sausages, kielbasas and lunch meat. I never thought about chicken – until now! I’ve been introduced to Hillshire Farm’s grilled chicken breast and now have a new favorite “go to” for quick lunches and dinners.

I was sent the Italian Style Grilled Chicken Breast product for review. When I received the product I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the product is fully cooked, and only takes about 60 seconds in the microwave to heat up. I was also happy that each chicken breast was individually packaged and sealed, so I didn’t have to feel bad about opening the package for only one piece. I decided to try the chicken during one of our busier days at home – a Tuesday school day. I quickly heated up a chicken breast for my son, who wanted it cut up with strawberries. I also chopped up a cold breast to put on top of both my and my husband’s salads – the perfect portion size for a lunch salad. Quick, easy and delicious – can’t get better than that! The Italian seasoning is just enough to add a little kick to the chicken breast. Not overpowering by any means. And each breast is only 120 calories, so I felt good about eating and serving the chicken to my family.
