To say my bathroom has limited storage is an understatement. There is a small linen closet in the bathroom where I store most of our towels. I keep our bathroom essentials like extra shampoo, conditioner, razors, soap, etc in the hallway linen closet. However, it was also too cluttered for my liking. Everything was haphazardly in there and I hated digging through the mess to find what I needed. I found a solution to help control the chaos – a DIY Bathroom Pharmacy!
If your bathroom is short on space like mine is, this is a great option to keep all your essentials in one convenient location. And it’s super easy to make!
What You’ll Need

- Sterilite ClearView 3 Storage Drawer Organizer
- Labeler (I use this one)
- Coloured tape for your Labeler (optional)
I used pink tape in my labeler, but you could use whatever colour you have on hand. This was a three drawer organizer so I selected three product categories we use most often. I filled the First Aid drawer with various sizes of bandages and antiseptic ointment. The second drawer I called Pain Management. It all our pain relievers for my frequent headaches as well as medicine for the kids. The bottom drawer is titled Oral Care and has extra toothbrushes, floss, and toothpaste.
This organizer saved me about a shelf and a half in the linen closet. It only takes up half a shelf now leaving it a 100x less cluttered looking.
I love being able to quickly find what I need without making an even bigger mess! This storage solution has been great for us.
This simple DIY is an affordable way to help you save your limited bathroom space and stay organized. I can’t change my small bathroom, but I can change how I use the space.
Could you use a DIY Bathroom Pharmacy in your home?

I actually did something similar to this, because we have limited space in our bathroom. It’s made things so much easier and organized!

I could definitely use one of these mini pharmacies in my bathroom! I actually already have that same 3 drawer unit. We are using it in the kitchen area though. I think it’s time to pick up a few more for the bathroom. We are moving in a few weeks and I think it is a perfect opportunity to get organized!

I really like this idea and you could actually use it for a lot of different items as well. I’m thinking it would be great for make up and moisturizers as well.

I’ve always used tupperware containers or shoeboxes, but this would work well too! I try to keep medications out of the bathroom due to the humidity from the shower.

This would be great! Really like how you have the bandaids loose in the top drawer. This makes them easily accessible without a lot of flimsy boxes that fall over and take up space. Have things there but kept under control and out of the way.

This is a great idea I need something similar in the kitchen for gravy and spice packets
