Fudge Nut Bars
Sometimes you just need to satisfy those chocolate cravings. These simple Fudge Nut Bars are exactly what you need. They are rich and sweet with multiple dimensions of flavour. Creamy fudge is layered between an oat base and topping. It reminds me a little of a very decadent granola bar.
These easy dessert bars would be a great addition to any bake sale table. If you are worried about nut allergies, leave out the pecans and just called them Fudge Bars. No biggie.
I cut mine when they were still semi-soft so you can see how gooey that chocolate filling is. If you would prefer a firmer filling, let them cool completely before you cut them. I couldn’t wait to devour these guys. Patience isn’t one of my strong points when it comes to food.
Fudge Nut Bars
This Fudge Nut Bar recipe makes a lot for just our little family of two. My cousin’s son came over to help me with some tasks around the house and I sent him home with a couple plates. I received a text back from his mom telling me how delicious they were and asking for the recipe. Here you go, Allison!
