I made my own yogurt and it was delicious! I had a little help though. My Cuisinart Electronic Yogurt Maker with Automatic Cooling did the majority of the work. It was my first time using it and I was extremely pleased with the results. The yogurt was thick, creamy and tasted even better than the storebought stuff.
Besides the yogurt maker linked above, you’ll also need to buy yogurt culture. I purchased mine on Amazon. For ingredients, it’s just the yogurt culture, whole milk and some milk powder. It takes a full day to make. 9 hours to ferment and then 12 hours to cool in the yogurt maker. The next day you can eat it for breakfast.
I recommend mixing in some granola or fresh berries to add a little more flavour. So so good!
