Cereal Milk Popsicles

I’ve always wanted to try Momofuku’s incredible cereal milk ice cream, but I’ve never quite found an excuse to trek down to New York City just for dessert. But I’ve found something that’s just as good – cereal milk popsicles that are ready in a flash and are equally creamy and delicious! Oh, and did I mention that these bad boys will save you the cost of a plane ticket? Talk about a win-win.

I used to adore sugar-based cereals when I was a kid. Coco Pops, Fruit Loops, Honey Nut Cheerios. You name it, I was properly downing it for breakfast. But these days? I stick to Special K or Cornflakes for a quick and easy breakfast bite. I know, it’s not exciting but I don’t have the same metabolism I used to!

When I’m looking to relive that incredible feeling of shoveling down a bowl of sugary cereal before the school bus arrived, I’ll whip up these cereal milk popsicles. They’re so simple to make and are unbelievably tasty.

I once made these bad boys when the kids were away on a trip. They were meant to be a treat for when they got back, but I ate nearly all of them myself. Don’t worry though – I just saw it as an excuse to make more!
