4 Ways to Manage Summer Chaos

My kids are looking forward to summer vacation. Bridget is heading to horseback riding camp and Olivia will be working at her summer job. Me, on the other hand, not so much. I admit to enjoying the quiet days while they are school. Now I need to prepare for the summer chaos that is on its way. Good times.

Here are a few tips to help you manage the summer chaos from my friends at Church & Dwight. Get ready for it and make the most of the long days of sunshine!

1. Encourage your children to get off their mobile devices and get outside. Life is SO different now than when I was a kid. I practically lived outdoors during the summer months. Send your kids outside in the yard to play and enjoy the beautiful weather. Take that time to catch up on some household chores that pile up like crazy when the house is full. To clean all those dirty, grass-stained clothes, use Arm & Hammer™ Plus OxiClean™ Cold Water Power Paks. They are affordable and leave your clothes looking as good as new!

2. Stay healthy. The busy days of summer are filled with sports, summer camp and swimming lessons which often means quick, on-the-go meals. Give your kids L’il Critters™ Gummy Vites™, a complete multivitamin, to make sure they are getting all those important nutrients.

3. Keep a routine. It’s important to still stick to a routine even during the summer. Yes, it’s great to sleep in and stay up late, but that throws your whole day off. Keep promoting regular chores and other necessary tasks like brushing teeth. Arm & Hammer Kid’s Spinbrush and Orajel Flouride and Flouride-Free Toothpastes taste great and come in popular kids’ characters like My Little Pony, Mario, Spiderman and new PAW Patrol. They make brushing your teeth a little more fun.

4. Get the kids to help with some chores. You’ll be able to get more done with an extra pair of hands. Ask your kids what chores they want to help you with. Emptying the dishwasher and setting the table are simple tasks kids can do. They can also help you with folding laundry. Your clothes will be cleaner than ever thanks to the stain-fighting power of OxiClean™ Versatile Stain Remover Powder.
