I’m a fairly low maintenance kind of girl. I don’t spend hours on make up and hair and am happy in my comfy clothes when I’m home. When I do get dressed up for a social event, I have a few things I like to do to prepare. First, I’ll do my makeup and find something nice to wear (off go the yoga pants!). Then I’ll tackle my hair. After washing and blow drying, I like to straighten it. My hair naturally has a bit of a wave to it, but it straightens easily. I love how it looks!

Over the years, I’ve had my share of hair straighteners. I recently had a chance to try out a hair straightener from NuMe. Meet the Empress!

NuMe Empress Hair Straightener

The Empress is the nicest hair straightener I’ve owned yet! It uses real diamonds on its ceramic coated plates. I had to look twice when I read it had diamonds in its design. Wow!

Another neat feature is that its plates are keratin-infused to make hair appear fuller, shinier and look just plain fabulous.

In terms of temperature settings, it starts at 250F and goes up to 450F. I mainly keep mine at 300F. It heats up fast!

After using the Empress for the past couple weeks, I don’t even want to use my old straightener. I’m sticking with this one because I love the results!

My hair feels silky and soft. It also looks healthier after I straighten it.
