Introduction to Monster High Freaky Fusion! #FreakyFusion

School started for my girls yesterday and it was also the beginning of school for students at Monster High®! This year they’ve got a new group of students. Meet the Freaky Fusion ghouls, Clawvenus™, Cleolei™, Dracubecca™ and Lagoonafire™.
Let me give you a bit of the back story on how these four new dolls came to be. Going to school takes a scary twist at Monster High, which as you know, is no ordinary high school. The new Freaky Fusion ghouls are on mission to search for clues to help Frankie learn about her past and family “scaritage”. Their journey takes them deep into the catacombs of Monster High where they inadvertently set off a time machine. That’s when the fun starts happening. The ghouls are taken back to the year 1814 and meet a misguided teen scientist named Sparky who has an obsession about the creation of life. Sparky returns with Frankie to the present day Monster High and unfortunately causes a lab accident where eight ghouls are fused into four new monsters. Eek!
Meet the Monster High Freaky Fusion Dolls
Walmart.com is the place to go to get your very own Monster High Freaky Fusion Dolls. Here is a bit more info about each of them.
- Clawvenus™: Made up of Clawdeen Wolf® and Venus Mc Flytrap® – Clawvenus™ is fiercely “fusionable” and ferociously beautiful, but she may need to change her shampoo to a weed-and-feed formula.
- Cleolei™ (Pronounced “Cleo-Lie”): Fusing the Mummy heritage of Cleo de Nile® with the werecat ancestry of Toralei®, Cleolei™ has some ferocious issues, but it’s nothing a quick little cat-nap won’t fix.
- Dracubecca™: Mixing the Vampire heritage of Draculaura® with the Mad Scientist ancestry of Robecca Steam®, Dracubecca™ is scary sweet but still attached to rocket-powered boots.
- Lagoonafire™: Fusing the Sea Monster heritage of Lagoona Blue® with the Chinese Dragon ancestry of Jinafire Long™ Lagoonafire™ loves to surf and swim like she’s on fire — literally!
My fave is Cleolei because of her cat background. My daughter is already a Monster High fan and would be over the moon to own any of these new dolls.
Monster High® Freaky Fusion™ Catacombs
Walmart.com even has a spooky 3′ x 4′ play set of the Monster High Catacombs for the ghouls to explore. It comes with some elevator, stair slide, dance floor and even a creepy Gargoyle. Expect a few surprises too! Click the image below to see the catacombs in action! There are short clips to show how each feature works.
Dual Ghoul Personality Test
Not sure which Freaky Fusion doll to pick up first? Take this fun Dual Ghoul Personality Test and find out your Freaky Fusion percentage. I learned that my inner ghoul was 75% Cleo de Nile and 25% Toralei. It was neat to see because Cleolei was my favourite of the group. What is your Freaky Fusion percentage?

My oldest cannot stop talking about Lagoonafire. MH is her life, I swear and she’s so excited about these new ones. Good thing her birthday is in a couple weeks!
I will have a look for these, nice review
I’ve seen these in the store, they are super cute. Surprisingly I haven’t found them at Walmart yet, but they have them at Target. We didn’t get the fusions, though, we got the 3 new girls – one is a ghost/mermaid, another is a minotaur and something, and the last is a mothman mixed with something else. They are super cute!
I know Monster High is really popular. My granddaughter isn’t there yet but what an interesting take. I did have to take the quiz…just for fun. Thanks.
50/50…twice.
when I think back to my kids as youngsters, it was all Barbie this and Barbie that – she seems to be way behind these days.
My daughter loves MH, I’m sure she will adore these new dolls!
No little girls in this house, but they are cute.
I’m not sure what to make of these dolls….my girl is years away from liking anything like this.
