This summer I’m all about fruit smoothies! Fresh fruit is plentiful in our local farmer’s markets and grocery store. My fridge is fully stocked with everything I need to make a tasty smoothie. I’ve been using Silk Almond Coconut Blend to add a guilt-free tropical flair to my recipes.
We recently picked up some pineapple and pomegranate and was curious to see how they would taste together. The pineapple added some sweetness and the pomegranate has a tart flavour.
Tip: I always use either a banana or some chopped avocado in my smoothies to add the creamy texture.
I had to make a few batches of this recipe because it was such a hit!

- 1 cup fresh pineapple, chopped
- 1 banana
- 1 pomegranate, seeds only
