Raised by a Canadian Farmer Logo, Contest + Twitter Party! #RaisedByACDNFarmer #ChickendotCA

Disclosure: I am participating in the Chicken Farmers of Canada campaign managed by SJ Consulting. I received compensation in exchange for my participation in this campaign. The opinions on this blog are my own.

As a brand ambassador for the Chicken Farmers of Canada, I’m happy to share delicious chicken recipes, fun contests, Twitter parties and new endeavours every month with all of you. This month I’ve got a few things to tell you about. The first thing I wanted to show you is the brand spankin’ new logo for the Chicken Farmers of Canada! This logo is being launched in stores all across Canada.

Now when you are at your local grocery store, you’ll be able to easily identify Canadian chicken. Just look for that sleek new logo!

I think it’s important to know where your food is coming from and how it’s raised. A survey recently conducted by Leger Marketing revealed that Canadians believed it was important to show country of origin on the label. 85% of Canadians felt it was important that the chicken they buy is Canadian and not imported. I agree there! I would much rather buy Canadian chicken and support our farmers and it’s also a group I know and trust. You can read my post about the Canadian Chicken Farmers of Canada to learn more about their organization.

Win a Backyard Makeover

To celebrate the launch of the new logo, Chicken Farmers of Canada is teaming up with CityLine to offer a fun contest! Enter to win a $5,000 backyard makeover! I would create my own backyard oasis complete with a new deck, furniture and grill! How would you makeover your backyard?
