This gives me an idea for wedding center pieces. Thanks!!
I remember doing these as a kid, had so much fun and my parents probably still have the little jar somewhere lol. I’ll have to give this a go this summer with the little one….
Wasn’t finding the colors I wanted in my bathroom. This will be perfect, I can customize my colors to matvh the decor.
These are very creative.
What a fun and colorful craft!!! Love the salt colors shown.
Seems easy enough to try!
I like how you can choose the colors you want to have. Thanks.

My daughter loves doing these! I have several that she’s done. 🙂
My 7 year old granddaughter likes to make patterns. This would be a fun activity to do with her. I have some pretty bottles and jars that she can use. Thanks.
WHAT A GREAT RAINY DAY ACTIVITY TO DO WITH THE GRANDKIDS
So pretty, I am sure I have lots of cute small jars around the house, to make these
What a cute idea! Thank you for sharing,
I was always fascinated by these when I’d see them in gift shops as a kid. I know I’ve got a couple of bottles around here I could do this with. Thanks for the tips!
I love these! Thank you for sharing.
I will have to save this and try making these with my 15 month old son when he is a bit older. They would make perfect gifts
I love how these turned out. I’ve seen t done with coloured sand before, but never coloured salt. We’ll definitely be trying this. Thanks! 🙂
This comment is slightly morbid, but interesting… I was watching a show the other day, and the guy on the show was wanting his family to dye his ashes (upon death) different colors to make one of these jars. He figured it would look far nicer then a typical urn on the mantle. 🙂 Made me giggle.
love the colours, would like to try this with my granddaughter
these are really cool, I remember doing them when I was a little girl and also did them with my children and now I get to do them with my grandchildren 🙂 thanks for share
How lovely and bright!
What a nifty idea. Who knew you could colour the salt with rolling chalk over it. Definitely an inexpensive craft. Thanks for sharing this great craft idea with your readers.
I’m sure my granddaughter would love this craft project…she’s so colour-oriented!
These are cute and easy. Kids will love the colors and mess. I remember when my daughter did it in Girl Scouts. A touch of color to the room.
So much fun it would be for the older grandkids
my grandkids would really enjoy this,oh the fun they would have
I remember when I was a child, many moons ago, making these. I’d always been fascinated by little glass lighthouses filled with different coloured sand, in gift stores at the seaside.
this is still on my list of crafts to do with the grandkids, maybe next summer
My niece would love this! She’s finally old enough (6 yrs old) to enjoy projects like this.
I used to love these when I was younger I might make some of these now.
Going to get some pretty jars at the dollar store and help the kids make a few for christmas with reds and greens colours
This looks like a fun Summer project to do with the kids!
