Skintimate Signature Scents Mandarin Burst Moisturizing Shave Gel Review

Disclosure: I received a sample of the product for review purposes. The opinions are my own, based on my personal experience with the product.

I started shaving my legs at age 12. My mom didn’t want me to and said that once I started that I would have to keep shaving for the rest of my life. I felt like a man though. My legs looked very hairy to me so I went against her wishes and did it anyways. Afterwards, I remember thinking that my legs looked 100x better.

Unfortunately, I was constantly nicking and cutting myself. I still have the scars around my ankle! Once I started using shaving gel, it made the process much easier (and less painful!). The only brand I liked to use was Skintimate® mainly because they made my legs feel soft and I enjoyed the fruity scents. Skintimate® has been around for a long time now and I’ve been a fan of the brand since those early years.

Some exciting news for Skintimate® fans! They’ve recently added a new flavour to the Skintimate® Signature Scents® shave gel lineup! Skintimate® Mandarin Burst Moisturizing Shave Gel just might be their best scent yet, in my opinion! Picture an invigorating blend of fresh mandarin orange, lemon and lime. It smells citrusy and reminds me of summer.

This shave gel is also super moisturizing. It contains six moisturizes including Vitamin E and Olive Butter. Not only will you smell wonderful, but you’ll also have smooth, soft skin. My legs were looking pretty rough with the dry, cold winter weather we are having. The gel foams into a nice rich lather to protect your skin and helps to replenish the skin’s natural moisture. I also find it helps protect from nicks too.

My skin felt a million times better after shaving just one time. Even John noticed and said my legs felt “very soft”.

When the nice weather finally hits, my legs will be ready!
