OPI Rock Goddess Mini Lacquer Set Review

Get ready to channel your inner rockstar. You know there’s one inside of us all no matter what age we are! I love to turn on my music loud and sing my favourite 80s tunes at the top of my lungs. I’m also sporting some rockstar nails thanks to OPI’s Rock Goddess Mini Lacquer Set. My nails I don’t mind showing off to the world. A video of me singing though? Not so much. I’ll keep that private.
The Rock Goddess Mini Lacquer Set is a limited-edition pack that includes four mini lacquers along with a skull bracelet. The colours are bold and edgy. They are as follows:
- Yellopalooza: This festive-al yellow rocks!
- Stand in Lime for Days: This citrusy lime green is worth the wait
- Rolling Bones: This shimmery metallic has gone platinum
- The Drummer is Hot: And so is this fiery red-ish orange
These shades are perfect for fall and especially Hallowe’en! They aren’t colours I would normally wear, but after trying them, I actually liked how they looked. It’s nice to change up your look a little and step outside your comfort zone.
I painted my left hand with Stand in Lime for Days which is a citrus green colour. They look more yellow in this picture, but in person more of the green comes through.
I painted my right hand with The Drummer is Hot which is an orange-red. I found it looked more dark orange with a hint of red.
On the package they show you how to create two different looks using the colours. They show how to create a Vanity Corset using Yellowpalooza, Rolling Bones and The Drummer is Hot. If you are talented at nail art, it would be a cool one to try!
You’ll be able to buy the Rock Goddess Mini Lacquer Set for a limited time starting September 2013 at professional salons and spas for a SRP of $14.95.
