PetArmor® Flea & Tick Medicine Review
Disclosure: I was not financially compensated for this post. I received a sample of the product for review purposes. The opinions are my own, based on my personal experience with the product.
We live in Florida which is crawling with fleas and ticks therefore it is important for us to use a high quality flea and tick medicine for our dog, Jack. For years, we have had to purchase his monthly medicine at the veterinarian which could be very costly.
I was very excited to learn that there is a new product available called PetArmor® which provides the exact same vet-quality protection from fleas and ticks at a fraction of the price and it is available at retailers and drug stores nationwide! PetArmor® Flea & Tick was developed for dogs and cats and contains fipronil which is the same active ingredient recommended by veterinarians.
We really had to discuss whether or not to try this flea and tick medicine because we were happy with the pet medicine we had been using for years. As a family on a budget, we were not happy with the out of pocket monthly expense so after comparing the ingredients we decided to switch over and give it a try. I am thrilled to announce that after using this product for three months we can report that Jack has not had any fleas or ticks even after spending two weeks in the mountains on vacation (we found ticks on our skin yet Jack did not have any attached ticks the entire trip).
My husband finds PetArmor® just as easy to use as our former brand flea and tick medicine. We simply give Jack a bath at the beginning of the month. After towel drying, my husband applies the medicine to the back of his neck along the skin (away from the fur) using the provided pipette. Each package of PetArmor® includes three pipettes which is enough for three months of adult flea and tick prevention.
A three month supply of PetArmor® is only $25 SRP and is available for purchase at Walmart, Target and other major retailers. This product is effective and brings us a savings of over $20 every three months which is good news for Jack and for our budget!
