Fairy Tales Hair Care Review

I only use natural hair care products on my children’s hair and our favorite brand is Fairy Tales Hair Care. My preference for using Fairy Tales is that it is an all-natural, organic hair care line that is sulfate and paraben-free. It is affordable and it is very effective too because it uses the highest quality ingredients to clean the hair and leave it feeling soft and silky.

We recently had the opportunity to try three new products in the Fairy Tales line including the Super-Charge Detangling Shampoo, Detangling Conditioner and Energizing Leave-In Conditioner.

There is no doubt that my children play hard and get dirty so it is important to use a shampoo that really works to clean their hair. The Fairy Tales Super-Charge Detangling Shampoo ($8.95) does the job and it includes Jojoba, aloe vera and vitamins B and E to keep hair moisturized and detangled too. I love the herbal scent and this one includes Rosemary, Sage leaf and nettle. A small amount makes a nice lather so a 12 ounce bottle lasts us for a long time.

My children swim in the pool every day and their hair also gets sun damage (we live in Florida) and salt water damage too. Therefore, it is very important for me to use a good detangling conditioner in their hair to avoid the tears that inevitably come when trying to comb out my daughter’s longer hair and my boys’ hair. My five year old son has curly hair that can be unruly and hard to manage but it is much easier since using this product. The Detangling Conditioner ($8.95) from Fairy Tales includes rosemary, cherry bark, aloe very and chamomile so that it conditions without being too heavy that it weighs down their fine hair. It has a wonderful fruit, sweet almond scent and I confess that I have “borrowed” this conditioner myself and love it!

The Energizing Leave-In Conditioner ($8.95) is very versatile. I add an extra drop of conditioner to my daughter’s hair after shampooing and conditioner to make combing out her hair a breeze. I also apply a dab of it to all of their hair when heading to the beach or after swimming so it is like a protective conditioning treatment. My daughter has an itchy scalp possibly due to her eczema and sensitive skin and I have noticed that she complains of it less since we have been using this product on a regular basis. It smells wonderful as it includes ingredients such as passion flower, cherry bark, rosemary and it also has soy and wheat proteins for extra moisturizing.

I am very impressed with the latest products from Fairy Tales Hair Care. There are several products lines available at Fairy Tales for the specific hair needs of children (I can’t wait to try the Sun & Swim products) i.e. Rosemary Repel to prevent head lice, Lice Good-Bye to kill lice and their eggs, Sun & Swim, No More Knots and Bad Bug which I would also love to try since we live in Florida, land of the creepy little critters!

You are invited to visit Fairy Tales to get additional information or to purchase your favorite products to keep your child’s hair looking great while avoiding harsh chemicals!
