Banana Boat Natural Reflect Kids Sunscreen Lotion Review + Sampling Opportunity (Closed)
Both my daughters are very pale skinned. They come by this naturally though. Their dad is Finnish and very blonde and fair and I’m also very fair. I go from white to red and skip the tanning part. Sunscreen is an absolute MUST in our home. Let’s face it, sunburns are painful!
Banana Boat is a brand of sunscreen that I’ve been using since I was a child. I’ve recently had a chance to try out the Banana Boat® Natural Reflect™ Kids sunscreen lotion on my youngest daughter, Bridget. I like that it’s very gentle on her sensitive skin. It’s made from 100% naturally sourced ingredients and is Paraben, PABA and Oxybenzone-free. It also provides broad-spectrum UVA and UVB protection and is water resistant. At SPF 50, it’s exactly the strength we look for in a sunscreen.
I like that its both tear and sting free and is described as “mild as water”. I’m always nervous about putting sunscreen on my daughter’s face because her skin is so sensitive. However, the face is usually one of the first to burn it seems so it’s something that needs to be done.
We’ve been fairly lucky and neither girls have had bad sunburns ever. When I was a child, I remember having peeling sunburns that hurt so bad! I would never want my daughter’s to experience that if I can help it.
Bridget loves spending time outdoors in the nice weather. We enjoy going out to the coast in search of crabs and snails. In low tide, we can walk along the ocean floor. I’ll be making sure she’s protected from the sun before we head out.
You can purchase Banana Boat Natural Reflect™ Kids sunscreen lotion at grocery stores, drug stores and other large retailers across Canada for a SRP of $11.99.
Bring on the sunshine summer. We are ready!
