Gerber Life Bring Dreams to Life Video Contest
When I was a little girl, I wanted to be a nurse so I could “see people’s bones inside”. That’s a direct quote from 6 year old me found in my first grade year book. I never did become a nurse and instead became an accountant and now a full-time blogger. I asked my 8 year old daughter, Bridget, what she wanted to be when she grows up. She said, “An artist who draws people’s pictures on the side of the road”. I couldn’t help but smile. To her, that would be the best job in the world!
Gerber Life is hosting a video contest right now focusing on that very question. The Bring Dreams to Life Video Contest lets parents share their child’s dream about what they want to be when they grow up. The grand prize is pretty amazing too: a $10,000 Gerber Life College Plan! There’s also 10 $100 gift cards to be given away as well. The contest is open to USA only.
How to Enter
Step 1 – Take a video of your child (who must be 8 years or younger) telling what he or she dreams of being when they grow up.
Step 2 – Log onto the Gerber Life Facebook page between February 25 and April 1, 2013 and submit your video to the Bring Dreams to Life contest.
Step 3 – Share your child’s video with friends and family on Facebook to get votes for a chance to win a $10,000 Gerber Life College Plan. Videos with 100 or more votes will qualify for the final round.
College is very expensive and I’ll be dealing with my oldest going away in a few more years. I’ve been saving since she was born. I know it’s going to cost a lot and I encourage you to enter Gerber Life’s video contest. $10,000 is a good chunk of money to put towards your child’s education!
