My husband and I are both “gadget people”. So whenever the opportunity to review a new tech gadget comes along I jump at the chance! I’ve been fortunate to have had the opportunity to review some pretty neat ones lately, including the latest one from eFreesia – an affordable portable charger with some pretty cool features.
I received the eFreesia Bar in white for review. The Bar is a compact portable smartphone charger that works with a host of electronic products from companies like Apple, Motorola, Amazon, Sony, HTC and more. After it’s fully charged, a stream of LED lights let you know how much power your Bar has left before it needs to be recharged. It worked great with my iPhone, quickly charging up my phone almost 50% without using even a quarter of its power, which tells me I could rely on this piece during a power outage or while travelling to give me the boost that I need to stay connected. And the really neat feature of this piece, something I haven’t come across in the portable charge market before, is that it also has a built-in flashlight. Genius! Think of when the power goes out or your car breaks down at night, wouldn’t it be great to have the security of being able to boost your phone to call for help but also have some light to work your way through your dark home or car? I think this is just the greatest idea I’ve seen in a long time – so simple, yet so functional and desirable. Another great feature of the Bar is its price – currently only $29.99 on the eFreesia site. For that price you can buy a few to scatter around – one at home, one in the car, one for travel, etc. This piece is available in white or black and is the perfect size for a purse, briefcase, diaper bag or even the glove compartment. It also comes in a simple yet pretty box that would make it easy for gift-giving.
With a passion for mobile electronic devices, eFreesia’s mission is to increase your mobility with the simplicity and reliability of their products. Their goal is to stay trendy and modern and help you stay on the move! You can check out the full line of eFreesia’s products on their website.
