Unplugged for Him and Her by Jon Bon Jovi Review
Over the years I have built up quite the collection of fragrances, both body sprays and perfumes. My mood as well as the occasion are the deciding factors in what I will spritz on myself as I begin my day. I reserve some of my more expensive perfumes for very special occasions (going to the theatre, fancy dinners out, etc.), but I also love having scents that are perfect for both casual and special occasions.
One of the biggest crazes in the perfume world is celebrities having their own line of fragrances. Jon Bon Jovi is the latest, with his Unplugged line for Him and Her. This new scent is available through Avon.com or your Avon representative. The scent for Her has been available since October, and the scent for Him will be available some time in November.
Unplugged for Her
To be perfectly honest, the look of the perfume bottle is almost as much of a deciding factor as the scent itself when I’m picking out a new fragrance. When I took my Unplugged for Her out of the box, I fell in love with the colors of the bottle and the shape of it. It’s a simple design, but the color draws me in.
Another important deciding factor with any fragrance is how long the scent lingers. When I tried this out for the first time, I was pleased that I could still smell it on my skin. I prefer lighter scents, and Unplugged for Her definitely met my taste. It has an outdoorsy feel to it, mixed with exotic fruits like plum and black dahlia.
Unplugged for Him
I’m even picker about men’s cologne than I am about women’s perfume. I’m not drawn to spicy scents, and I don’t like the lighter scents. I prefer something that represents masculine nature.
My husband doesn’t wear cologne, so I surprised my father-in-law with Unplugged for Him. I’d picked out a cologne for him years earlier as a gift, but I’d smelled it before purchasing it for him. This time, we were both getting a surprise when he opened the box to give it a try.
Unplugged for Him is slightly spicy (but not overdone), mixed with woodsy and black dahlia. It’s a perfect complement to Unplugged for Her. My father-in-law loved it, and was even talking about getting Unplugged for his wife. She tried out my Unplugged for Her, and loved it as well.
