Bright Starts & Taggies Review
Finding the perfect holiday gifts for the little ones in your life is a fun, yet sometimes stressful experience. I want to find gifts that are fun, safe and interactive. The Taggies™ and Bright Starts lines offer a huge variety of gift options for children 0-36 months.
I was able to review the Taggies™ Jingle Bells book. This soft book is suitable from birth and features a fleece cover with an adorable polar bear. The tags on each page will delight any child and a cheerful little bell inside the cover creates a merry sound effect (and the fact that it is sewn inside keeps it safe from your little one’s prying fingers). The book features lyrics from “Jingle Bells”, which just happens to be my son’s favorite holiday song this year. I love using this book in the car because my son is at that charming stage where he will eat board books if you leave him unattended with one. This is a book I can happily give him while not having to worry if he is swallowing pieces of it while I am driving. This will make a great stocking stuffer for any of the little ones in your life.
I am a huge fan of the Having a Ball line from Bright Starts™, so I was so excited to receive the Get Rollin’ Jet Popper™ ! This adorable ball popper is shaped like a jet plane, complete with little red wings on the side. Inside are the classic balls that pop as your child rolls the toy around and in addition there are three balls included that shoot out the front when you squeeze the handle! My son loves this feature as he is already obsessed with his Pop & Roll Roadster™ from the same line. He really enjoys reloading the balls and then watching them pop out the front again. I love the bright colors of this toy and the hilarious jet plane sound effects (it requires two AAA batteries). This is a fun way for your child to work on motor skills and encourages those on the verge of walking to get up and go (of course mine is running already so he was ready to go before I even got the toy out of the box). The set-up is a snap as well and did not require anything other than common sense which is a big plus for me, queen of being confounded by instruction manuals. This toy is perfect for your little ones that are 12-36 months (and fyi, the box is just the right size for a mischievous little toddler to climb into and stand in).
