Repurpose Compostables Review

With the holidays quickly approaching, we find ourselves using more disposable products at gatherings with friends and family. I always feel a pang of guilt because we take pride in being an eco-concious family and I hate using something once and then throwing it in the trash.

Repurpose Compostables

I was very excited to try Repurpose Compostables which is a line of eco-friendly disposable coffee cups, cups and cutlery that is actually compostable. This is perfect for our family because we have an actual compost bin in our backyard but even if you don’t the product is designed to compost in a commercial setting in just 90 days!

Repurpose Compostables is made from 100% renewable plant resources and uses non-toxic soy based ink so it is safe for the entire family including the kids. Available in this line are disposable insulated coffee cups, clear cups for cold drinks and forks, knives and spoons.

Repurpose Compostables Party Pack

My family has really enjoyed testing this product because we didn’t have to worry about increasing our carbon footprint on those rare occasions when we choose to use disposables. We reused ours as appropriate and when it was done we added it into a corner of our compost bin. It is an excellent way to stop using disposable plastic cups and cutlery!

Repurpose Compostables is affordably priced with a SRP of $4.99 for a pack of 12 count Repurpose Hot Cups, $3.79 for a 20 count of Repurpose Cold Cups and $2.99 for a 24 count Repurpose Assorted Utensils. You can purchase Repurpose Compostables online now at Abes Market.
