Product Reviews Review | Egyptian Cotton 600 Thread Count Solid Sheet Set

It’s been years since I’ve bought sheets for our bed. Our current ones are very worn and have seen better days. With us in the process of renovating and redecorating the house, I added a sheet set to our shopping list. We spend hours in bed each night so I wanted to find some that would be comfortable to sleep on and will match the decor.

When I first went on (aka I was blown away by the sheer selection they have! There’s 768 items at the time of this post under Sheets in their Bedding & Bath section alone. I quickly narrowed down my selection by mattress size  and then again by price. That’s when I found the perfect set: Egyptian Cotton 600 Thread Count Solid Sheet Set in Taupe.

They are made with 100% Egyptian Cotton and have silky feel to them. The colour advertised on the website is the same which is a big bonus. Sometimes its hard to tell from a picture until you see things in person. It includes a flat sheet, fitted sheet and two pillowcases. The one I reviewed for the full mattress is $99.33 which is extremely affordable considering the high thread count I’m getting.

I washed the sheets before putting on the bed even though it says you don’t have to. I always do just because I have such sensitive skin. They fit my bed perfectly and look great with our black comforter. Once the room is completely redecorated, they will look even sharper.

I love how soft and luxurious they feel. I also just realized that sheets really do make a difference in how you sleep. I’m so glad to get rid of the old scratchy sheets and be able to curl up in comfort in the warmth of my bed.

The Egyptian Cotton 600 Thread Count Solid Sheet Sets come in nine different colours in Twin, Full, Queen and King. also has tips on buying sheets. Just scroll to the bottom of the page and you will see the Buying Guide with links. I read the Bed Sheet Thread Count Fact Sheet and learned Thread Count refers to the number of threads per square inch of fabric and the higher the thread count, the softer and smoother the sheets will be.
