Neato Robotics Review

Over the years, I have tried several robotic cleaners which ultimately ended up collecting dust in the closet instead of actually collecting dust and dirt while cleaning my floors. Either those robotic cleaners didn’t work as promised or were inconvenient to use. While I always loved the concept I didn’t think I would ever find one that actually worked until…………. I discovered Neato Robotics®. Finally, there is an outstanding robotic vacuum cleaner that is available to vacuum your house and its performance is exceptional!

Neato Robotics® is far advanced from the other robotic cleaners that I am familiar with using because it actually “scans, maps and plans” its cleaning path instead of randomly moving about a room. Its laser eye scans the area five times every second so that it can actually take a 360 degree view of the room allowing it to avoid obstacles. Moving in a deliberate path to create a pattern of straight overlapping lines, Neato cleans extremely efficiently.

If you have pets or suffer from allergies (we have both in our family) then the Neato XV-21 was designed specifically for you. This model uses a special filter which “retains more than three times the amount of fine dust particles as standard filters” and it has a combination bristle and blade brush to pick up “pet hair, dander and fibers”. My young daughter has severe asthma so I am extra vigilant about using my manual vacuum at least 3-4 times per week. In fact, prior to setting up the Neato Robotics® XV-21 vacuum to work for the first time, I had actually vacuumed that morning so I didn’t expect that it would pick up much. While I was skeptical, my husband was even more skeptical. Were we ever wrong……….the dirt cup was full of pet hair, dirt, dust and hair and other unmentionables on the first pass!

Neato’s brilliant design (it is only 4” high) actually allows it to get up close to walls and corners and under small areas like tables, beds, cabinets, couches etc. The suction is extraordinary using “centrifugal compression-impeller that uses jet engine airflow principles to create high-powered suction”. It even works on both our carpeted and tiled floors adjusting itself to the surface as it cleans.

As if that isn’t enough, Neato is so easy to use making it perfect for busy families. In fact, hands-down Neato is my all-time favorite cleaning accessory. It has revolutionized how I am able to keep my home clean for my family with very little effort. Neato can be easily set to automatically clean when it is convenient for you and there are no expensive bags to purchase since it has a reusable dirt collection cup. For example, I have it set to clean on Sunday, Wednesday and Friday at 3:00p.m and I can even set it to spot clean on demand. When Neato’s battery is running low on power it will automatically return to its docking station to recharge and then begin cleaning again until the job is finished. I am not the most computer savvy gal but I was able to have Neato programmed and ready to clean in 5 minutes. It is so satisfying to come home and find that my carpets and tile floors have been cleaned while we were away.

I have raved about Neato Robotics® to all of my friends and family so I am thrilled to be able to introduce it to Simply Stacie readers. This robotic vacuum cleaner has far exceeded my original expectations and I can’t imagine my home without it.

You are invited to visit Neato Robotics® to view the Neato XV-21 in action and learn more about how it and the other Neato models work. It is available for purchase at major retailers including Best Buy®, Target®, Walmart and many more or you can purchase it online for only $429.99 and get free shipping!
