A Night at Madame Tussauds Hollywood #DisneyMoviesEvent
I love being a tourist! During my trip last week to Los Angeles, we visited Madame Tussauds Hollywood Wax Museum. This was both my first trip to Hollywood and to Madame Tussauds although I have been to a wax museum in Niagara Falls before. I much prefer Madame Tussauds though because there was so much more to see and do.
When we first arrived we were greeted by a wax figure of Marilyn Monroe outside the entrance. I couldn’t get over how real these wax figures look!
The bloggers and Marshall all grouped up for a group shot with a blue screen behind us. I’m way to the right and don’t really look scared like I’m supposed to look. I couldn’t stop laughing.
Once inside we were able to walk right up to the figures, but they asked that we not touch their hair and face. Here’s a shot of Staci at 7 On A Shoestring with Nicolas Cage.
The wax figures were scale to size so we could easily see how tall/short the celebrities are in real life. Here’s Beyonce:
Brad & Angelina (aka Brangelina) together of course.
I saw Robert Pattinson too! I’m a huge fan of the Twilight books and Team Edward. He was the only Twilight actor there as far as I know.
There was also a section for actors in days gone by. Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers were dancing.
I love myself a bad boy….James Dean.
It’s Breakfast at Tiffany’s! With a real Tiffany from Fabulous Finds by Tiffany and Audrey Hepburn.
This one is for my Grandma June who loves John Wayne.
Hannibal Lecter (Anthony Hopkins) was freaky to look at it. They had a circle on the floor where you could stand if you dare and look straight into his eyes. It gave me chills.
Mariah from Formula Mom and Tiffany from Fabulous Finds by Tiffany sitting on the bench with Forrest Gump.
I had to ask someone to take a picture of me with my all-time favourite male actor, Johnny Depp.
And last but not least, my favourite shot of the evening- Staci at 7 On A Shoestring balancing on a log with Johnny Castle (Patrick Swayze) from Dirty Dancing.
Have you ever been to a wax museum?
