Week 49 on Nutrisystem #NSNation
Having a 4-year-old, a husband with bad eating habits, and hobbies that involve more sitting than standing are not very helpful with my weight loss goals. I prefer to do any sort of exercising without anyone else around. Unfortunately, that never happens. It’s very rare that I am all alone at home, and when that happens I steal a few precious moments of silent reading time so I can keep up with my book reviews.
I know that only minimally watching what I eat and taking in no exercise whatsoever, I can stay around 138-140 lbs. However, that is not my weight loss goal, and in order to get back to 135 lbs. (or better yet, less than 135 lbs.!) I am going to have to control myself when I go out to eat and get comfortable with working out when everyone else is home.
I wasn’t surprised this week that I saw no weight loss. I have been slipping back into old habits, which is surprisingly easy since I am always handed so many temptations. I was miserable when I didn’t give in to cravings, so now when I have started to want certain foods, I let myself have them. Thankfully this doesn’t happen every single day, but with no exercise, the weight most certainly does not fall off.
I’m still maintaining 138.4 lbs. in my 49th week on Nutrisystem. Again, I was expecting this, and I’m grateful that the number was not higher. My weight loss journey has not been an easy one, but I have learned so many things about myself and about food in the last year. My 50th week will be my last weight loss post, and I will share with you all my future plans to drop the last of the weight I want to lose.
- Weight: 138.4 lbs.
- Upper Arms: 11.5 inches
- Thighs: 20 inches
- Waist: 31 inches
- Hips: 38 inches

I know how hard it is to lose weight while those around you are not eating very healthy. There’s always something to tempt you. Keep focused though. You are doing great and you can do it!
Do you use “my fitness pal” ? Its an awesome free app with tons of info to choose the best option when eating out as well as to track excersize and calories. And every bit of excersize helps! Even a walk around the neihborhood with your kid or playing tag 🙂 congrats on your progress!
Congrats on your progress. Don’t beat yourself up about slip-ups. You’re doing awesome!!!!
Hmmm, so have you lost weight without exercising? I have lung disease and thyroid disease, along with degenerative bone disease, etc… I was in a wheelchair for quite awhile so I gained a lot of weight. I am out of the wheelchair for now. I am not able to do much exercise and diet drugs are totally out the question.

Weight loss should be so simple, but I know from experience that it takes a lot of work, in my case I always had a hard time when I was super close to my goal (like you are now)! Keep at it. 135 has been my goal for years, but right now I’m pregnant with twins and can’t exactly work on that!
Tried Nutri isystm when it first came outand had nonluck.
I need to try this!
