Week 48 on Nutrisystem #NSNation
If you remember from earlier weeks of my Nutrisystem journey, I really struggled between the weights 135 lbs. and 138 lbs. A few months ago, I went on a short blogger trip to San Jose and was left to my own devices for meals. I love being in new places and trying new foods, so I did not limit myself for most meals. Now I am still struggling with the aftermath of it all, and trying to get my weight back down.
Between week 47 and week 48, something went very wrong for me: I gained 2 lbs. that I just can’t really explain. I am now back into that danger zone where I will struggle. On this 48th week, I climbed back up to 138.4 lbs.
There are a lot of things to remember when losing weight on Nutrisystem: get enough sleep, drink enough water, make good choices when dining out. If you’ve been following along for the past year, then you know that my family tends to eat out a lot. Sometimes I have will power, and other times I do not. Most of the time it depends on where we go. If it’s Red Lobster, I’m in trouble. If it’s Olive Garden, I’m in trouble. If it’s Chili’s, it could go either way. If it’s Iggy’s, I’m in love with probably their healthiest menu option, and so I usually order it.
I’m not happy to see this number on the scale, but I’m still committed to meeting my weight loss goal of 130 lbs. I know it will be difficult to maintain it, but it really does help me when we stay at home rather than eating out. Thankfully, my measurements are all around the same, and none of my new clothes are ill fitting.
- Weight: 138.4 lbs.
- Upper Arms: 11 inches
- Thighs: 20 inches
- Waist: 30.5 inches
